Down Like An Elevator

Jonas Brothers were snapped leaving their hotel in New York City today, May 20, with Big Rob. They are prepping for their performance on Good Morning America tomorrow with Demi Lovato.

In other Jonas Brothers news, according to People, the boys were trapped inside an elevator for 45 minutes last Saturday after they performed at The Grove. They were joined by bodyguard, Big Rob, photographer, Rob Hoffman, and Chef Tim Love.

Kevin told the mag that he and Nick were the first to freak out. Nick clarified that he only panicked because, “I just didn’t have my [blood-sugar] checker with me. No one had it on them, and I was afraid that if [my blood-sugar level] went low in an elevator we wouldn’t be able to do anything about it”.

Firemen had to come rescue the group! Luckily for us, Hoffman caught the whole ordeal on tape. They better make a funny Youtube video about it!

It Turns Into Gold

Vanessa Hudgens spoke with On the Red Carpet at Nylons “Young Hollywood” party last week. Vanessa dished that shooting the cover was so much fun.

She also shared that her purple frock was the first time she has ever worn Vera Wang but that she was “very happy” with it.

Lean On Me, When You’re Not Strong

Taylor Swift was interviewed by On the Red Carpet at the BMI awards earlier this week. She spoke about the flooding in Nashville and how it affected her loved ones.

Taylor, as we previously reported, donated $500k to the flood relief effort.

I Got the Magic In Me

Emma Watson was on The Today Show this morning, May 20, to announce the winner of the Today’s Wizarding World of Harry Potter Contest.

The winning class won a trip to Universal Studios for the June 18 Grand Opening! Emma looks so cute while announcing the winner and the class is so excited. The teacher is the best part, I think she wanted this more than the students!

I Ain’t No Fool

Emma Watson and Logan Lerman are in talks to star in the film version of the novel, The Perks of Being a Wall Flower. Both Emma and Logan are best known for their fantasy films, Harry Potter and Percy Jackson.

The book/movie is about “a shy and unpopular teenager who describes his life by writing a series of letters to an anonymous person and explores the awkward times of adolescence, including drug use and sexuality”.

I love these two so I hope they both decide to do it!

Justin Bieber performed on American Idol last night, May 19. He performed a medley of his hits “Baby” and “U Smile”.

He also showed off his skills on the drums! Sounds pretty good!

To the Window, To the Walls

Miley Cyrus was in the studio last night with Lil Jon, working on a remix for “Can’t Be Tamed”. Lil Jon brought along his son.

Miley was joined by Antonina Armato, co-writer of “Can’t Be Tamed” and many of Miley’s other hit singles. The duo have worked together since Miley’s debut record.

Fun fact, in 2009 Lil Jon was given Miley’s old cell number, as his own. Over the next few months he received several calls intended for the singer.

I’ll Play The One That’s On His Heart

Joe and Nick Jonas manage to muster a smile last night, May 19, after leaving the New York Yankees game. The Yankees lost to the Tampa Bay Rays, 10-6.

In other Joe news, he confirmed to JustJaredJr.com that he will be releasing an album, most likely in 2011. We already expected this, with all the tweets and rumors he was in the studio it didn’t take long to realize he had his own side project. I’m interested to hear Joe’s music, I’m sure it will be different than Nick’s which will be fun to hear (not that we don’t love Nick’s!).

Nick also told Billboard.com he was interested in recording a second Administration album. I can’t wait for more music from the Jonas Brothers, together and individually!

I Used to Be a Damsel In Distress

Taylor Swift slipped some shopping into her busy touring schedule yesterday, May 19, in Beverly Hills, CA. Taylor was in town to accept BMI’s “Song of the Year”.

While out Taylor browsed more home furnishings. With all the shopping she’s been doing her home must be about ready! I don’t like the outfit she wore out though, it was probably cute on paper but on her it was not flattering. Taylor has a great body but this look makes her appear heftier than normal.
