Justin Bieber’s free concert at Forecourt in front of Channel 7’s Sunrise Studios was canceled Monday, April 26. Justin was to perform a three song set for his fans, some of who camped out overnight.
Unfortunately, rumor broke out around 2am that Justin had arrived early (the show was set to begin at 7:40am) causing pandemonium. Thousands of Justin’s fan rushed the stage causing several to be trampled, at least 10 girls were treated for injuries. Due to the craziness, police canceled the show.
Justin was obviously bummed out, it was his only scheduled show in Australia. Fortunately, he had the chance to perform his song “Baby” at the Sunrise Studios this morning. After he performed his only song, he asked his fans to go home in a safe manner.
I know this may be a hard concept to understand but if some Justin fans remained calm than incidents like this (and the one at the mall last year) wouldn’t happen. We know seeing Justin is exciting but hurting others is not. And when a few fans get out of control, they ruin the experience for everyone else.
