Oh.My.JONAS. These photos of Nick Jonas in the new issue of Parade magazine (out this weekend I’m guessing) are extremely delectable! In the interview, Nick talks his solo music, his family, and his dream to win a Grammy.

On his brothers: “We make decisions together—even when we’re doing things individually. Going into my first solo album, it’s good to know that they were excited. There’s been a good vibe from the get-go.”

On the public’s interest in his love life/faith: “We like to keep some things private. We appreciate it when people respect that. Everyone has a right to his own business.”

On going it alone: ““I hope my peers in music and my friends are liking it. I hope they can see my growth in music. It’s a dream of mine to win a Grammy one day.”

This Is Just a Dream

Kmart has been experiencing some difficulties lately with sales and trying to compete with super store, Wal-Mart. But it seems they may have found a way to turn it all around.

Kmart has paired up with Selena Gomez and her “Dream Out Loud” line in hopes of grabbing a piece of the coveted girls’ apparel market. Kmart’s Chief Marketing Officer, Mark Snyder believes the partnership with Selena will work.

He said, Selena’s line “give us an opportunity to appeal to a customer we’re perhaps not top of mind with”.

In this difficult time, it could be Selena and her loyal fanbase, plus her cute clothes, that turns the tide for the store.

What Ya Gonna Do, When They Come For You

Apparently last night was not a good night for the Henrie brothers. According to TMZ.com Wizards of Waverly Place star David Henrie and brother Lorenzo “were both cited for challenging a person to a fight (similar to disturbing the peace) and released early this morning to their father. ” The reason for the fight was because the person was calling them mean names.

I guess we will have to see what the repercussions are for something like this, especially from David’s bosses at Disney!

Because These Things Will Change

Taylor Swift recently spoke about her upcoming performance at American Country Music Awards. She will be performing “Change” on the show airing Sunday, April 18, at 8pm on CBS.

In the interview she also talks about her favorite past performance at the ACM’s and her nomination as Entertainer Of The Year. She also stated that she would be a part of the Brooks & Dunn  tribute.

I would have liked to see a new song of her’s performed at the award show, but I think I can handle a performance “Change” since it happens to be one of my favorite Taylor songs!

We Don’t Run Around All Day

 

Jake T. Austin has been a busy boy as of late, promoting his new movie The Perfect Game. During promoton, MTV.com sat down to talk to Jake about his upcoming projects.

One in particular I think most fans will be interested in is the script he is currently writing and preparing to turn into a film. Jake says that “[My own project is] based on a true story about my cousin… growing up in sort of a rough neighborhood in Florida.” The movie will be called Kings of Suburbia.

The article is really interesting and I am really interested in seeing Jake’s script come to life.

Just One Spark Starts A Fire

Kevin Jonas will be making a guest appearance on NBC’s “Minute To Win It” on May 23 to benefit the charity “Children For Change”.

Finally, we get some sort of Kevin news! I miss the eldest Jonas and I am so excited to see him take part in something that will support such a great charity. I also can’t wait to see some of the challenges he will have to complete!

But We Sure Had Fun

More news has been released about Miley Cyrus’ music video for “I Can’t Be Tamed”.

According to @octaviusterry, sneak peek pictures from the video will be released at midnight on May 3, while the video will premiere on May 4. Rumor also is that Miley’s album will also drop on June 8 same day as Christina Aguilera’s new album.

Well this shall be interesting! Miley vs. Christina first day sales!?!?! I am keeping my mouth shut on this one, but would love to hear your thoughts on the winner!

UPDATE: We are now hearing that Miley’s album will drop June 22. If this date is true then she will be going up against Eminem’s new album Recovery. We will keep you updated with the album date when we know it for sure.

I Should Know That You’re No Good For Me

Taylor Swift rocked it out last night, April 15, at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. She performed to a sold out crowd and even had a surprise for the fans! Camp Rock 2 star Meaghan Martin also attended the show.

During a performance of Katy Perry’s “Hot and Cold”, Taylor surprised the audience by introducing Ms. Perry herself to perform the song alongside her.

I think the performance was great! I kind of want to see a Selena Gomez and Katy Perry duet of the song since she  covers the song at her concert.
