Production on The Maze Runner: The Death Cure has extended its shutdown for the foreseeable future. Production on the film was postponed after Dylan O’Brien was injured on set earlier this year and now because of his injuries shutdown with continue.
According to Dylan’s publicist, “His injuries are very serious, and he needs more time to recover. The resumption of principal photography on Maze Runner: The Death Cure has been further delayed to allow Dylan O’Brien more time to fully recover from his injuries. We wish Dylan a speedy recovery and look forward to restarting production as soon as possible”.
No word has been released on whether or not the shutdown will affect the film’s release, but we will keep you informed.
