The Los Angeles Time recently spoke with Rob Pattinson and director of Breaking Dawn about the end of the series.
On shooting two films at once:
“It’s been really hard shooting both films at the same time,” says, Rob Pattinson, when he attended the Golden Globes, “But it’s the end of an era.”
On the three leads:
“All the characters are moving [in this chapter],” director, Bill Condon said. “It’s really about the passage from adolescence to adulthood, and they all seem energized by that. It’s the stuff they are all connecting to in their lives.”
On the entire cast and crew being stranded on the island where the honeymoon was filmed:
“It was incredible. We got caught in the middle of this huge rainstorm — I’ll remember it forever,”. He went on to say, “Eighty people sleeping on the floor of the set. We couldn’t leave.”
I love that they were stranded! That is definitely not something you hear very often!
